Introducing Carla Brunner: A Dedicated Eventing Rider

Carla Brunner balances a demanding career in private banking with her passion for international eventing. Her approach emphasizes independent horse management and the importance of enjoying time with horses.

How do you balance your professional career with competitive riding?

It's all about prioritization and time management. I often ride before work, using those early morning hours when the barn is quiet. I view these moments as privileged time rather than obligations. It's important to remember why we do this sport—for the love of our horses.

Can you describe your approach to horse management?

I emphasize independent horse management. Each horse is an individual with unique needs, so I develop tailored training plans rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach. Understanding your horse deeply is key to building a true partnership.

What does eventing mean to you?

Eventing is the ultimate test of the horse-rider partnership. It demands versatility, trust, and communication. The cross-country phase, especially, requires absolute faith in each other. That's what makes it so rewarding.

Why did you choose to partner with Equinetree?

The sustainability aspect resonated with me immediately. As riders, we have a responsibility to consider our environmental impact. Equinetree's products prove that you don't have to compromise quality for sustainability.
