How did you start riding and what drew you to three-day eventing?
I started riding when I was very young. My family has always been involved with horses, so it felt natural. Three-day eventing appealed to me because it combines all three disciplines—dressage, cross-country, and show jumping. It requires such a complete partnership with your horse.
What does your typical training day look like?
I'm an early riser. There's something special about being at the barn before sunrise when everything is quiet. I focus on building confidence and trust through consistent, patient work. True confidence is earned at home, not in the arena.
What role does trust play in your riding philosophy?
Trust is everything. A horse needs to trust you completely, especially in cross-country where they're facing obstacles they've never seen before. You build that trust day by day, through consistent handling and clear communication.
What attracted you to Equinetree?
I care deeply about sustainability and the environment. When I learned about Uppeal and the plant-based approach, it aligned perfectly with my values. It's exciting to be part of a brand that's pushing the industry toward more conscious choices.
