A Journey of Show Jumping Passion: Rahel Pulfer

Rahel Pulfer's partnership with her mare Zazou II exemplifies the power of trust and patience in show jumping. Her approach emphasizes the importance of building genuine connections with horses.

How did your partnership with Zazou II develop?

It took time and patience. When we first started working together, we had to learn each other's language. I believe you can't rush these things—trust is built through consistent, fair handling and lots of small successes.

What does trust mean to you in show jumping?

In show jumping, your horse has to believe that you won't ask them to do something dangerous or unfair. That trust comes from months and years of positive experiences together. When Zazou and I approach a jump, she trusts my decisions completely.

What's your training philosophy?

Patience and timing are everything. I never rush the process. Every horse learns at their own pace, and pushing too hard can damage the trust you've built. I'd rather take extra time and have a confident, happy partner.

What drew you to Equinetree?

I loved the sustainable approach from the start. The equestrian world can be slow to change, so it's exciting to see brands like Equinetree leading the way. Plus, the products are beautiful and perform excellently.
