Event Details
Some shows are competitions. Dublin is a tradition.
Every August, the leafy Dublin suburb of Ballsbridge turns into the beating heart of the equestrian world. For five days, the historic showgrounds of the Royal Dublin Society fill with horses, riders, families and friends for a festival that all of Ireland seems to attend. This year, from 5 to 9 August 2026, Equinetree will be there too.
A Show Steeped in History
First held in 1864, the Dublin Horse Show is one of the oldest and most beloved horse shows on earth. It brings together world-class international show jumping, prestigious breeding classes, and a social calendar all of its own, drawing around a hundred thousand visitors across the week.
The highlight for many is the Nations Cup on Friday, when teams from around the world contest the famous Aga Khan Trophy in front of a crowd whose passion has to be experienced to be believed.
It is loud, it is warm, it is unmistakably Irish, and we cannot wait.
Why We're Coming
At Equinetree, we believe you should never have to choose between beauty and responsibility. Our horseware is crafted from Pomatura™, an elegant, plant-based leather alternative upcycled from the byproducts of the apple industry. It is hypoallergenic, easy to care for, and kind to sensitive skin.
Ireland is a nation of true horse people, and that makes it exactly the audience we want to meet. There is no better place to put a new idea in front of people who know quality when they hold it.
Our stand: bridles, reins and the Mela collection, ready to be picked up and felt.
Come Say Hello
Whether you're chasing a clear round or simply making a day of it with the family, we would love to meet you.
Stop by our stand to:
- Feel Pomatura™ for yourself. Run your hands over our Mela collection of bridles and discover a material that surprises everyone who touches it for the first time.
- Explore the details. The finishing, the durability, the quiet elegance that make Equinetree pieces as practical as they are beautiful.
- Talk with the people behind the brand. We're a small, passionate team, and there's nothing we enjoy more than sharing the story of how apples became horseware.
You'll find us among the trade stands, so swing by any day of the show.
An Invitation
The Dublin Horse Show is proof that tradition and progress belong together. A show that has thrived for more than a century and a half does so by welcoming what comes next.
We would be honoured to be part of your Dublin week. Come and see what the future of horseware feels like.
